Welcome to Revive Spaces. By accessing our website (www.revivespaces.co.in) or engaging our interior design and execution services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions
  • "Company," "We," "Us," "Our": Refers to Revive Spaces, located in Chennai/Tamil Nadu.

  • "Client," "You," "Your": Refers to the user of the website or the person/entity engaging our services.

  • "Project": Refers to the interior design, renovation, or architectural work agreed upon in the quotation/contract.

2. Scope of Services
  • Consultation & Design: Includes 2D layouts, 3D renders, and material selection as per the specific package chosen.

  • Execution: Includes civil work, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and installation as detailed in the final approved quotation.

  • Iterations: We provide up to 2 rounds of design iterations free of charge. Further changes will incur additional design fees.

  • Exclusions: Any service not explicitly mentioned in the final quotation is considered out of scope and will be charged separately.

3. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) via Bank Transfer, Cheque, Cash, or UPI. Prices are exclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax), which will be charged at the prevailing rate (currently 18% for services/works contract).

Standard Payment Schedule (Subject to Project Contract):

  1. Booking Amount: 10% of the estimated value (Non-refundable) to freeze dates and start design.

  2. Design Finalization: 40% of project value before production/material procurement begins.

  3. Work in Progress: 40% of project value upon completion of carcass work/false ceiling (or midway milestone).

  4. Handover: The remaining 10% will be due before the final key handover.

  • Late Payments: Failure to pay invoices within 7 Days of the due date may result in a work stoppage. A late fee of 10% per month is to be applied to outstanding dues.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

In accordance with standard practices in the Indian Interior Design industry, our refund policy is as follows:

  • Booking Amount: The initial booking token is non-refundable. This fee covers initial consultation hours, site visits, and design concepts.

  • Design Stage: If you cancel after the design phase has started but before production:

    • We will deduct design charges (calculated at per sq. ft. and the value of any site visits/consultations provided.

    • Any remaining balance will be refunded within 30 business days.

  • Execution/Production Stage: Once materials have been ordered or factory production has begun (e.g., cutting of plywood, purchase of tiles):

    • No refunds will be issued for custom-made furniture, modular units, or procured materials.

    • You are liable to pay for all work completed and materials purchased up to the date of cancellation.

5. Project Timelines & Delays

We strive to complete projects within the agreed timeframe (usually 120-180 days for standard projects). However, timelines are subject to:

  • Client Approvals: Delays in approving designs or making payments will extend the deadline.

  • Site Conditions: Restrictions by building societies, unexpected structural issues, or lack of power/water at the site.

  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by "Acts of God," including but not limited to floods , cyclones, pandemics, strikes, or transport strikes affecting material supply.

6. Warranties and Defects
  • Workmanship Warranty: Revive Spaces provides a 1 Year warranty on carpentry and installation defects.

  • Material Warranty: Hardware, appliances, and fittings (e.g., Hettich, Hafele, Asian Paints) are covered solely by the respective manufacturer’s warranty. We will assist you in claiming these, but we are not directly liable.

  • Exclusions: Warranty does not cover damages resulting from wear and tear, water leakage (unless plumbing was done by us), termite attacks (unless anti-termite treatment was part of the scope), or misuse.

7. Intellectual Property

All design drawings, 3D renders, and concepts created by Revive Spaces remain our intellectual property.

  • We reserve the right to photograph the completed project and use the images for our portfolio, website, and social media marketing. We will ensure no private or sensitive information is revealed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Revive Spaces shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is strictly limited to the total value of the professional fees paid by you for the specific project.

9. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
  • Amicable Settlement: In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through negotiation for a period of 15 days.

  • Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

  • Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
